Our Approach
We are far from perfect, but we are trying.
Sustainability is a constant process to us and we are always doing our best to improve.
Below Collection
Our 'below' collection is made from a combination of 1,3 mm bio and limestone based rubber foam (Eco-sponge) The Eco-sponge is PVC free and significantly reduces petroleum use. The Bio-sponge is a 100% neoprene free bio-based product made of renewable resources.
Our lining is made of recycled polyester from post-consumer plastic bottles while the soft slickskin finish allows for a great hand-feel, quick drying properties and high elongation rate. All suits feature zippers with semi automatic zip sliders and recycled zipper tape.
Please note, the neoprene material naturally shows creases. Please hang them upright in order to minimize creases.
Sunset & Cape Collection
Our swimwear is made of 78% ECONYL® regenerated nylon & 22% elastane.
ECONYL® is 100% regenerated nylon from pre and post-consumer waste such as fishing nets and other nylon waste. Our swimwear is chlorine and suncream resistant, UV protecting (UPF50+) and breathable. Both our fabrics and production are made in Italy.
Our Packaging
We use noissue Tissue paper & noissue Stickers which are printed with soy-based inks, on FSC-certified paper and is acid, sulphur, and lignin-free. The noissue Tissue and Stickers are 100% compostable, recyclable, and made from recycled materials.
Our Partnership
We have partnered with non-profit SeaTrees and will support their amazing efforts to restore and protect blue-carbon coastal ecosystems by planting 1 mangrove 🌴 for every item sold.
SeaTrees is an ocean-focused platform for people and brands to take direct action on climate change, they work with communities around the world to plant and protect blue carbon coastal ecosystems- mangrove and kelp forests, sea grass, ride-to-reef watersheds, and coral reefs.
Their projects do a lot more than sequester carbon. SeaTrees measures impact with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The regeneration and protection of these ecosystems provides critical habitat for countless species, sustainable long-term employment for local communities, and protects those communities from storm surges and sea-level rise.
